NewChurch Georgetown's Christmas Stroll team has been investing in the local community by creating a safe, fun and free Christmas experience to show God's love to the families and especially the children of our community.  Every member of NewChurch volunteers in some capacity to help transform two city blocks of downtown Georgetown into Whooville.

The Christmas Stroll has long been a tradition in Georgetown when on the first Saturday of December the Downtown Square is transformed into a holiday festival.  NewChurch celebrated its fifth year as sponsor of a children’s area dubbed “Whooville.”  2010 brought over 30,000 people out to play and our area was nominated Best Event of Georgetown in 2010.

Whooville covers more than two city blocks with every activity and ride being free to all.  Activities include rock walls, a sled hill with real snow, face painting, putt putt golf, laser tag, fishing pond, and many more activities for children of all ages.  NewChurch is the largest sponsor of the Christmas Stroll.

Georgetown's Christmas Stroll and Whooville will be on Saturday, Dec. 3 this year. We hope to see you there!
