Here at NewChurch, we believe that the definition of spiritual Maturity is the degree to which a person gives themselves away (their time, talent and treasures) for the benefit of others. One of the ways that this maturity manifests itself in our daily lives is the commitment of our time, talent, and treasures to others through serving in one of our six focus areas.
At NewChurch, these six core focus areas are each supported by our Pastoral Leadership Team. For those that are already followers of Jesus Christ (or those that are wanting to see what this God stuff is all about), serving in a focus area that 'fits' with who your are, how you were created, and what gets you excited is all apart of the characteristic 'Being' - one of the five traits of being a fully functioning follower of Jesus Christ.
